Offer a Lead Magnet with massive value. We've all downloaded freebies that were a waste of space on your hard drive (#sorrynotsorry). So, I know you're thinking this may not be the way to go. But, trust me - when you create a piece of free content that provides a quick win for your audience they will be delighted and want to know more about what you have to offer.
Create 'bonus' content for people on your list. When you deliver something "exclusive" to your email list. They will pay attention. Your audience will feel FOMO and will sign up to be a part of your "exclusive" list to gain access to the exclusive content. So, come up with a video series, free resources, a free mini-offer, or a free consultation for only people who subscribe to your email list.
Create sharable content. We all know we should be creating sharable content on social media. But, think of how that can translate to your email list. You want to provide them with awesome content and then invite them to "share with a friend." The great content and this specific call to action will get you more sign-ups.
Design stunning emails. Humans are visual creatures. When we see something pretty we stop and take a closer look. Design your emails to look spectacular, make them on-brand with your specific fonts and colors. Add gifs, visuals and design elements to make them look forward to opening your emails every time.

Promote your offer on social media. After you create your incredible lead magnet, you want to post it everywhere! And post it frequently - don't just mention it once and move on. Make it a weekly thing, in fact, everytime you send out a new email entice your social media audience with the content so they want to sign up for you incredible emails.
Add your lead magnet on Pinterest. This platform is so often overlooked for growing your business. But your dream clients are on there searching for things, so you need to be on there too. Add a quick pin to your lead magnet and put it on Pinterest. It may take some time but, the reach is incredible.
Add a pop-up on your website. You won't imagine how many times my clients forget to add a lead magnet popup to their website! Too many! You should have your popup come up after they scroll down 30% of your site or upon exiting your site to maximize sign up. This way, all the potential clients that visit your site will have the opportunity to sign up to your email list.
Collect email addresses when you host an event. If you are planning a challenge, workshop, or live training - have people sign up with their email addresses to save a spot. That way, you know they are interested in your training and you can add them to your list to promote your business.

Use FB Ads to promote your lead magnet. I know some of you may balk at the idea of paying to build your email list. I, myself, thought it was a waste of money to make an ad for my freebies since I would spend money and not get an immediate return. But, it is one of the fastest ways to get your lead magnet in front of MANY dream clients. Since FB ads allows you to get really specific about who you want to target, the people signing up for your list will likely already be searching for what you offer. You can also build your list, relatively cheaply. AND the algorithm learns who you want to target. So give it a shot!
